Cookie Policy
1. What are cookies
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember information about your visit — such as your language preference or consent choices — and help measure how the site is used.
This site uses a minimal set of cookies. No advertising cookies, no social media tracking, no cross-site profiling.
2. Cookie categories
Strictly necessary
These cookies are required for the site to function. They cannot be disabled.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
cookieyes-consent | CookieYes | Stores your cookie consent preferences | 1 year |
Analytics
These cookies are only set after you accept analytics. They help understand traffic patterns anonymously — no personal identity is tracked.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga | Google Analytics | Distinguishes users (anonymised) | 2 years |
_ga_* | Google Analytics | Persists session state for GA4 | 2 years |
_gid | Google Analytics | Distinguishes users within a 24-hour window | 24 hours |
3. Consent Mode
This site implements Google Consent Mode v2. When you reject analytics cookies, Google Tag Manager fires in a privacy-safe mode: no identifiers are collected, no cookies are set, and only aggregate, cookieless modelling is used (if enabled). Your choice is always respected.
4. How to manage cookies
You have several options to control cookies:
- Cookie banner — when you first visit the site, a banner lets you accept all, reject all, or manage preferences individually.
- Manage preferences — click the link in the footer at any time to review and update your choices.
- Browser settings — all major browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect how the site functions.
- Opt out of Google Analytics — install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
5. Changes to this policy
If new cookies are introduced, this page will be updated and the "Last updated" date revised. Significant changes will trigger the consent banner again.
